What is Tekant.fi?
Tekant.fi is an online moped part store that first started in 2015 by a group of friends due to our shared passion of mopeds.
We sell and import high quality moped and scooter tuning- and spare parts to other enthusiasts.
Born to RiDE, Forced to FIX
Tekant Oy is a Finnish tuning and spare part online store for mopeds and scooters, which was created in 2015. The store was born out of love and passion mopeds and the necessity of fixing them.
You can find over 8000 unique products straight form our own warehouse located in Oulu, Finland. In total we have sent over 270 000 orders from our warehouse.
And would you look at the pace: if you place you order before 16.30 on a weekday, your order will be guaranteed to be sent on that day. And if you ever find yourself in Oulu, you can try out our very own package collection machine located next to our warehouse, where your order will be ready for collection within an hour.
These days Tekant employs four people full time and during the busy summer months we have over 10 additional part-time employees.
We deliver over 60 000 orders every year, because we know how important it is to get your ride out of the garage and onto the road as soon as possible.

Where did it all begin?
The idea for our business started mainly from our own moped days. Our main goals are fast deliveries and cheap prices. We try to keep our expenses very light so we can sell high quality products to you inexpensively. We buy our products in large quantities which helps keeping prices low.
In the beginning our selection consisted of only LED -strips which we sold on a Finnish moped forum called Motot.net. Soon after that we expanded our selection to LED -indicators. By the end on 2014 our selection included LED -strips, LED -indicators and the occasional used part. In 2015 the idea of expanding our business took over and we decided to make our business official and create our very own online store. The same online store has been in use ever since!
100% of our orders are sent by the next weekday. Usually orders are available for pick-up within 48h of the order being made (in Finland). The main advantages we have against our competitors are fast deliveries, inexpensive prices, interesting product selection and our knowledge of moped culture. We know what we are selling, since just ten years ago we were in the same shoes as our customers are in now. 🙂
Fast deliveries are our speciality
We work hard to make sure you get your order as soon as possible. If you order before 16.30 on a weekday, your order will be sent the same day. All of the products in our online store are found straight form our 500 square meter warehouse. We strive to offer products that you can’t get anywhere else in Finland.
We mainly focus on our online store, but we do also have our own package collection machine “Mopomaatti”, which is located within our warehouse. From this machine local customers can pick up their orders without having to wait for delivery. Pick up is available 24/7 every day of the year!
